I am a curious researcher looking to learn new tools for applied research in the paleo field. Previously, I worked on the ancient DNA from wood subfossiles of ~120 ky, as well as environmental DNA from párama sediments of ~9 ky for the characterization of methane emissions in the Holocene. I am largely interested in the application of computational tools like machine learning and high-performance computation to environmental science. Aside from science, I enjoy practising different sports and playing and designing videogames.
