My research focuses on the geodynamics and evolution of subduction zones and accretionary continental margins. Particularly, I am interested in the role of arc-continent collision and deep-slab mantle dynamics in the formation of sedimentary basins in the overriding continental plate. The tool of my preference is thermo-mechanical numerical modeling.
